Wanda E Brunsetter

Product Description
Kumme to Amish country, where the simple ways of life lead to hope and healing. Katie Miller is traumatized after her boyfriend is killed in a van in which she was also a passenger. How will she find her way out of the valley of her depression? Freeman Bontrager will make any excuse to be near to Katie, hoping to win her love. But how far will he go to gain her trust. . .and her heart? What will bring this girl out of the shadows of fear, and open her heart to life—and love?

My Review:

I received this book free as part of the First Wildcard tours.

I was a little behind in my reading so am a little late posting my review. This books is wonderful. I have read a couple of chick lits which are not my favourite types of books and this book I didn't want to put down. I finished it in a day which is something that I haven't done for quite awhile. In my opinion this book is even better than the first book. Katie has issues with stress and depression and the way Wanda has written her and how she deals with it is very well done. It gives an insight into how stress and depression can affect a person. I like how Wanda also didn't provide an easy fix for Katie. Someone experiencing similar issues to Katie may well relate and be given hope and give them the courage to ask for help also. I also loved Freeman Bontrager's character also and his big sister who thinks she knows best. I loved this book.
