Oh today I made fudge for the first time ever. Its still setting but I did get to lick the spoon and it was yummy.
1. Firstly thanks for coming back to my blog. This time we are focusing on Christmas.
What do you most associate with Christmas where you live?
You're most welcome! I most associate it with family and friends who come in for the holidays. Hot cocoa and the wish for snow, which is rare here in Southern Illinois.
2. Do you have any special family traditions you do at Christmas time?
We get together and play board games and card games. We also like to visit a place called Candy Cane Lane which is MILES upon MILES of an entire neighborhood that is highly decorated with Christmas lights. (Jenny here sounds fun)
3. Do you have a favourite christmas Carol and if so do you know why?
The Little Drummer boy because it reminds me that I'm writing as worship and my talents can be a gift to Jesus. I've loved that song since I was little.
4. If you could spend Christmas anyway you could how would you celebrate?
With all my family together in one place. I hate the miles that sometimes separated us. For everyone to be healthy and close to God.
5. Do you have any special memories of Christmas?
When out-of-town family showed up to surprise us from several states away. I will never forget it.
6. What is a typical Christmas eve and or Christmas day for you.
Lots of food. Family togetherness. We open one gift each and hang out, play games. I love that. Christmas Day is chaos. Watching everyone open gifts WAY TOO early in the morning. Then dinner with family and games and just being together is what the day consists of. Turkey dinner and lots of fixings.
7. Do you have any Christmas movies or Christmas books you like to see or read each year?
I don't get into Christmas movies much but when I was little I would love for my parents to pull out the Christmas albums of Alvin and The Chipmunks--the original. I love the Steeple Hill Love Inspired Christmas stories the most. I stare at the covers and love the snow and lights and wish we had snow here.
8. Do you have a Christmas message for my readers?
Stay safe and knowing Jesus loves you. That YOU are a gift to HIM and that you are never far from His thoughts. Praying blessings on you and your families. Thank you for your readership. I consider it a tremendous blessing and I'm humbled and happy beyond words to be able to write these books for Steeple Hill and the reader letters and support and positive reviews and all the word of mouth regarding my books have meant so much. I look forward to another great year with readers and always love hearing from them. God bless!

Yay! for fudge...now, if only I could find a non-dairy recipe. :-)
Yes Laetitia...LOVE fudge. Marshmallow fudge with nuts is my favorite.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Thanks also to Jenny for hosting me.
Hugs all and Merry Christmas.
