2011 top reads

In 2011 I read around 132 books so narrowing it down to 10 has been hard. A couple books were instant selections. The top ten are in no particular order.

This book would have made last years list as I started it in 2010 but finished it in 2011.

This book was given to my by a friend who knows the author and wanted me to review it. When I read it I just could not put it down.

This is another Aussie book I got to read and learnt alot about the first settlers to Australia and knew it would be one of my top reads for the year.

This was Pam's debut novel and one I just loved. I am eagarly awaiting her next book.

I think this is Camy's best book so far and cant wait for the next in the series. It was different to many books I have read and was a good read.

I love Mary's books and although read many this year this one stands out for me. I think partly because of the setting. It reminded me of Waimea Canyon in Hawaii when Mary described the Canyon.

Again I do love Jillian's books and look forward to reading them. This book stuck a chord and I think it was her best of the year. I loved there story.

Another excellent Australian book which left me wanting to visit the villa featured on the cover.

This was an interesting book which found I couldn't put down. I love the way it was written.

Another debut book that I loved. The story was fun and different and I really enjoyed it.

I could have added several more to the list as there were many that touched me in different ways. Picking the 10th book was really hard. some choose themselves this year. Thanks to all the authors for writing great books for readers like me to read.

I've enjoyed everyone's "top 10" lists. :) Sadly, I haven't read ANY of the books that made your list, but a few just got added to my TBR list!

Jenny, thank you for including Stealing Jake in your top 10 favorites for 2011.

You're awesome!

If Cora Villa is written from a Christian world view, I'd love to feature it on my blog.

I'm thinking I'm jealous of these Aussie books :) They look good! Cora Villa especially.
