Prayers for Queensland would be appreciated

Most of you would have heard of the flooding in Queensland Australia It is bad there are floods in so many areas and now into New South Wales. The area is larger than land mass of France and Germany put together.  Today there are more rivers expected to peak and thankfully the peak for a couple of rivers have been downgrade a little which is a blessing it will still be really bad but I do believe the prayers of many are responsible.
Please pray for Australia. Some of my readers are from Queensland I am not sure where they are in respect to the flood areas.
To all in affected areas know you are in my prayers.

To anyone viewing my blog today I would ask you leave a comment of support for all affected I am sure it will encourage these people and the people of Australia who like me are hurting for our fellow country people.

My family is praying, and I'll put it on my church prayer list. For safety, encouragement and blessings...

Thanks for your support and thanks Pat The people need all the prayers they can get. The brisbane river will flood around 4am in the morning. There are other areas that will be flooding for weeks. One major prayer point is for no cyclones to hit.

I'm in Qld but not (at time of writing) in a flood zone.

Floods are definitely worse than droughts (though poss. not as bad as wild fire) because at least a drought doesn't knock houses away or destroy business machinery.

Laetitia you were one I was wondering about and hoping you were ok.
I agree with you about the flood. Its just horrific to watch.
there is a small town over the border from here about one and a half or so hours away thats flooding not like Queensland but its cut the main road to Horsham. So the floods are in several states now.
Praying you stay unaffected by flood as I know we are all affected by the flood even if we are not there.

Many of the Christians in America are praying for y'all in Australia, especially those caught in the flood. Know that you are not alone.

Jenny, have been praying every time it comes up on the news. Thanks for the additional reminder.

It is a reminder of the terrible flood we have had here in North Carolina. So sad we have common events all over the world.

Will be praying for everyone in the long run. Recovery from flooding is such a long process.

Peace, Julie

Jenny - I was just thinking about Austrailia this morning and wondering if you were in the midst of the floods.

Please know our entire family is praying for Austrailia! Please keep us updated.

In Christ,

Thanks all the Brisbane river today peaked a metre lower than expected which means instead of 40,000 houses inundated it was more like 7,500.
there is still danger of the tides this afternoon and into New South Wales but looks like some of the floods there are not as high as expected also. This will take months if not years to recover so please continue to pray.
Thanks I know all Aussies and all in the flood areas appreciate your prayers.
I love what our former PM said today "5 words: Thank God its stopped Raining" he is a christian and I think it sums it up.
