Review All the Stillness of the Wind by Donald James Parker

Book 4 of the Masterson Family Series - Jeremy has studied the theory of evolution and its inherent weaknesses. His conclusion is that the world itself is a testimony to the existence of a creator. He decides to throw himself into studying religion to find out if he can determine who that creator might be and what such a powerful entity desires of him. His motivation is strong due to his love for Maria, who introduced him to Christianity, but Jeremy won't sacrifice truth even for the love of his life. He must find satisfactory answers to all of his inquiries, in order to pave the way to a mutually dedicated relationship based on common ideals.

My Review:
This is the 4th book in the Masterson series. Last book was about creation v evolution. This book Jeremy is studying religion. The way Jeremy studies is interesting and informative. This book does alot of the research for us and would be very effective for a non believer to read and see the research. Jeremy makes some interesting discoveries while trying to find out why churches do some things. Alot of the things Jeremy discovers and the reasoning totally support many of the things I to believe but Donald has expressed it in a way that makes perfect sense. In fact talking about this book with a friend at church we have asked out Pastor to preach on one of these issues. During the book there are some interesting situations and its good to see how Jeremy handles them. I did enjoy this book and I have to say I admire the fact Jeremy is a speedreader! I would give anything to read faster than I do.
4.5 out of 5.
I hope to get to book 5 shortly but do have quite a tbr pile waiting.
