I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read the first two in the series but now I really want to. I didn't feel at a loss because of that and was able to fully follow this story. I grew up loving Westerns and Pirate movies. This is an interesting story of Ruby and her 3 nieces and Micah. Ruby's story is heart wrenching and at the same time there is a story of hope, acceptance and forgiveness also. So often we condemn someone cos of there past but forget what Jesus has done for us once we accept him. If God forgives shouldn't we? This story touches on these issues. This is a well written book I would definitely recommend. 4.5 out of 5
