Amy from My Friend Amy started a new Saturday question where we post a question and reply then link back. Here is the first question.
Why do you read and review Christian fiction? Do you exclusively read Christian fiction or do you also read general market books?
Ok part one first. I read and review Christian fiction as I too am a Christian and I enjoy reading Christian fiction. I prefer it to other types of fiction and I enjoy the fact there is such a great variety of books to read. I like the fact they clean books without the bad language and sex scenes some many books have now days.
I like to review to give back to the writers of the books. Its a small way to show my appreciation for there time to write the books. Some books are books I am sent to review others are books I buy or have won etc and I want to write about.
No I dont read other fiction Its 99% Christian fiction, I have so many unread I dont need non christian books. I do read some non fiction which is not christian based like Cricket books.

Yes, there is such a variety of Christian fiction out there! And so many great new ones coming out, it's hard to want to read anything else!
I too have a lot of unread books to keep m busy.
Since I have discovered how great so many Christian authors are, I have really been just filling my reading time with Christian fiction. There are so many greaqt books out there now!
Cool beans, AusJenny.
I totally get that! There's enough Christian fiction to keep us busy! :)
Hi, Jenny. I am so glad that there is much diversity. My christian friends once only relied on what they see in stores now they come to me first. :)
Seems like quite a few of us can appreciate the "safe" feeling of Christian books!
I just got my post up here: http://wendisbookcorner.blogspot.com/2008/10/saturday-christian-fiction-carnival.html
Have a great weekend! ~ Wendi
Hi Jenny. I'm in the same boat as you with the number of books unread on my shelf. Most of them with reviews coming up in the next month or so! EEK!
