I Finished this book on the Weekend and I just didn't want to put it down. I was so tired that I was planning an early night but as I was reading this book I just could not put it down. I finished about 12.50am. I haven't read the first book in the series but I didn't even realize it was a sequel till today. This is a chick lit and a very good one. Its set in California and Gaby has had some bad luck. Her then boyfriend had run of with most of her business and her apartment building has burnt to the ground leaving her with out a home and little else. Through her friend she finds a loft apartment near the water which is just perfect for her. She meets the neighbours who seem to want to know a bit to much, and vows to not be gullible anymore. I loved the way Julie built the story with the quirky neighbours, the local sea life and water sports, and good friends. I loved this book and give it a 4.5 out of 5. Well worth reading.
