If you love Books about strong Women heros this is a book for you.
This is a great read about a independent Widow, Sophie Edwards of 4 daughters, and a headstrong Mountain man, Clay McClellan. When Clay and Sophie first meet they discover he is the brother of Sophie's murdered brother. He believes its his duty to marry her and protect her.
This is where things get interesting. Clay has never lived with women and is expecting them be incapable of looking after themselves where as they are been doing just that for many years.
It leads to a lot of humorous situations. Clay cant deal with the giggling and tears and wonders what he let himself in for.
There is also a real sense of danger just round the corner and Through Sophie's cries of help to God he send help in unexpected ways. This is an excellent book and I am looking forward to the next in the series.
I would give it 5/5
